My PC configuration includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card, a B450 AORUS ELITE motherboard, a Corsair RM 850x power supply, 16GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz RAM, and Windows 10 Home 64-bit. I am experiencing sudden game crashes even when frame rates are consistently around 60 fps, specifically with Dishonored 2, Death of the Outsider, Just Cause 3, and Titanfall 2. I anticipated running Dishonored 2 on maximum settings without issues. This problem began approximately three weeks ago and persisted despite installing a new motherboard, memory sticks, processor, and an M.2 SSD. Core Temp readings show temperatures between 60-77 degrees during Dishonored 2 gameplay. The GPU is not overclocked and I cannot test the video card in another system. My suspicion centers on either the GPU or PSU, and I am seeking assistance as other online resources have been unproductive.

Motherboard drivers? Link: B450 Aorus Elite Driver Support. You're experiencing crashes to desktop, correct? If the issue stemmed from your graphics card or power supply unit, you'd be encountering significantly worse problems – black screens and immediate shutdowns.

You have way more than enough quality power.

Is this related to GPUs, and if so, is my GPU less powerful than I perceive it to be, or could there be a malfunction?

If you changed something three weeks ago and didn't update the necessary drivers, crashes like that are usually software/driver related.

I am uncertain about what alterations I would have made. My GeForce Experience indicates that I possess the most current game-ready driver. Are there any other drivers that require updating?

Your boards bios are a good bet. Also, check for any memory leaks. Perhaps your pc is hogging up 12gb of ram and making the games max it out even though you have more than enough ram. (Go in task manager and look at ram usage; if no games are open and it’s above or close to 60%, something is wrong.)

I investigated memory usage as you suggested. The computer currently utilizes 32% with iTunes, Task Manager, and a single Chrome tab open, along with numerous background processes. I am unable to work with BIOS settings. Would both the original and updated BIOS have contributed to the issue? I updated all drivers to their latest versions. I will observe if the problem continues. I attempted to update BIOS settings but failed to install any files. The games frequently crashed to the desktop, occasionally resulting in a black screen or display cessation, but my computer did not completely shut down. It appears that a driver issue may be the cause. If the problem resolves, I will respond to this thread and indicate it as solved. Thank you for your assistance thus far! EDIT: I tested Dishonored 2 for approximately one and a half missions without a crash, suggesting it was previously problematic. I am marking this as solved. Thank you again.

I am experiencing the same issue. Could you please identify which driver requires updating?
