I'm searching for affordable photo editing tools beyond Photoshop since it's costly. Digital painting won't suffice either.

Really, few individuals purchase Photoshop.

Just to be honest, I've never tried anything like that before... so I'm not really sure if it would work.

Do you know a specific amount you're planning to allocate? Lightroom typically ranges from $150 to $175, which seems reasonable given its value.

I own a CC subscription for Premiere Pro and Photoshop. In my opinion, it's the top photo editing tool... GIMP isn't great Smile. If you need it to function, just invest in Photoshop. Otherwise, stick with any free alternative like GIMP. OR, consider Photoshop Elements, a more affordable, less powerful version of Photoshop.

I’ve worked with Photoshop in school, so I’m quite comfortable with it. I was really taken aback not realizing how much I didn’t know about it before.
