I mistakenly added the Intel Rapid Storage driver to my PC, but realized it's only necessary for RAID usage, which I don’t use. I ended up with a 1TB HDD paired with a 120GB SSD. When I tried to remove it, I encountered an error after restarting. Fortunately, I restored it using a system restore before uninstalling. Now I’m curious about the purpose of those files on my D: drive (pics attached). http://imgur.com/a/NJocM

Check your C: drive for folders by opening File Explorer, navigating to the root directory, and looking for subfolders or files.

It's not necessary for RAID; I've installed it only to monitor my drives while the PC is running. It's fine and doesn't cause any issues.

No, those folders are stored on my D: drive, which holds my game files. The C: drive contains the SSD with my operating system installed.

I’d rather keep it off your system, so you can delete those files and have a neater setup.

Touched. Did you know if you can remove them or you're encountering an issue? Also, have you adjusted the view to show all files and folders in Windows lately? That might explain what's happening.

I located a previous restore before the Intel rapid storage driver installation and simply reinstalled it. After that, I removed the files from my D: partition. Everything worked fine.
