Advanced gaming experiences!
I've seen that 'next gen games' seem identical to previous ones (just minor tweaks). The Crew, Assassin's Creed, and many other newly released titles are surprisingly disappointing. When will creators use this new tech to deliver something truly valuable instead of the same old experiences?
It frustrates me when those weak consoles limit visual advancements. What changed about the promise of next-gen systems using x86? I’m hoping Witcher 3 can raise the bar for graphics and inspire others.
These are fifty newly released games that have received harsh criticism, making the porting process much easier. Don’t compare the whole industry to Ubisoft.
I didn't claim the latest matches were terrible. What I mean is that I think PC titles—especially in terms of visual quality—have been limited by poor console performance.
In my opinion... No matter how the game looks or what kind of experience you expect... Previous versions offer richer environments and sharper images, which is especially noticeable when viewing them from a distance of more than four feet. The jump from 480p to 900p or even 576p to 720p makes a big difference. Higher resolutions bring cleaner visuals, but sometimes developers have to simplify details or reduce detail range to maintain performance. Those smaller consoles have become a bit cramped, trying to fit better cooling systems for stronger hardware—maybe they could have been much more effective over time. (thinking on it) If they’d released something like: a tailored operating system plus Corei3 or AMDFX-4Core, paired with an NV 750Ti or AMD 265/270 (or future efficient options) and some Nvidia/AMD upgrades (or simulated 4k), in a bigger case... It would really impress people and likely drive sales.
We aren't limited by consoles. If you're stuck, it's developers' fault, not the hardware. The older consoles of the second half of their life didn’t hinder progress. With Xbox One and PS4, don’t assume they’re stifling PC development. Remember, we released Crysis 3 on PC when previous systems were gone—developers needed to create games that worked on many platforms. Also, the Steam survey shows PC gamers still have weaker graphics power compared to new consoles, even though CPUs are better. Progress is happening, but it's slower now because of diminishing returns. Once you hit a certain level, you need huge improvements just to notice a small visual difference. Many people overlook how far graphics have come, remembering old games look great until you see them again.
I don't understand what you mean. Could you clarify your request?
