Advanced audio options are missing; the system mistakenly treats headphones as a microphone.
I've encountered problems with my audio on the new PC. It seems the system mistakenly treats my headphones as a microphone. During tests, it doesn't respond to my real mic and instead picks up audio from the headphones or even when I tap them. Switching to the speaker controller with its headphone jack resolves the issue, though it still blocks the cable from being used properly. This isn't a problem on my previous machine, which used Realtek HD instead of Realtek USB Online. I've noticed that the Realtek Audio Control might have an advanced setting to prevent mixing input jacks, but it doesn't appear on my system. The settings are visible under the rear and front jack info, but it's missing here. My audio drivers are current, so I'm unsure why this option isn't showing. Could you help explain why this setting is absent or how to adjust it? Thanks in advance for your advice. Mobo: ASUS ROG STRIX B660-A GAMING WIFI D4
Provide an extension cord and connect it to the back of the PC, as the case features a Uni-plug for mike and headphones.
