You already have an SSL certificate set up for your online banking. Upgrading to Windows 10 (currently on 7 Update) shouldn’t require reinstalling those certificates unless you change the setup. It’s good to know you can back them up, but it would be reassuring to avoid any extra costs.

According to what I understand, the update process leaves files unrelated to the operating system untouched. Third-party programs and user files should stay safe, though I’m unsure about the SSL impact. You might want to back up your data since version 10 can restore backups from earlier versions, and you could test this in a VM before applying it.
