This is something I cannot find an answer about. All of the threads I'm finding online are from August or September of last year. In a few days' time, I will be renting Adobe After Effects CC for $20 a month. I will also be using lynda.com for training. As I begin to bring in more money, I will eventually rent the entire suite for $50 a month. (If I can sort it out with my school, I could get the entire suite for $20 a month for the first year.) That being said, I do not know if I can even use my GTX 970's CUDA cores in the Adobe Suite, or even any of the programs individually. I know for a fact it does not work with Vegas Pro 12 or 13. Yet the card is bought a lot for being a strong card for rendering. Does Adobe Suite CC Support Maxwell-based cards? Can I sue the CUDA cores in After Effects, Premiere, etc? If someone could use the @[member[ thing for me to call some of the editors at LMG, that would be highly appreciated! (I don't know how to do it.)

it doesn't seem like it, but OpenCl is an option that performs well and supports AMD GPUs. Just a note, it also functions on Nvidia cards. Suggested video adapters for AMD and NVIDIA to boost performance with Windows and CUDA. Recommended: AMD and NVIDIA graphics drivers.

You're using your Radeon 6870 with OpenCL in Vegas Pro 12 and GTX 970, but the 6870 isn't compatible with After Effects.

I chose AMD because it offers better value with more processing power, ideal for those who aren’t interested in gaming.

You're a CC member. Features like ray tracing won't be available in AE, though it still functions. Some restrictions are in place, but differences aren't obvious yet. Also, with student discounts and signing up as a student, I shared my university and email with Adobe. That's all set for $12 AUD per month until September.

It's also beneficial for gaming with a resolution of 290x at 970 at 1080p, exceeding 970 at 4K, and maintaining 290x over 970 in pure processing power.

Are there any options in AE to verify your GPU model? You mentioned checking your GPU for detection, similar to what you do for Vegas. When rendering, you should pick between CUDA Cores or OpenCL. Is there a button in After Effects to see if your GTX 970 or 6870 is recognized?

Is there an option in the AE interface to verify whether your GPUs are recognized? You don’t need ray tracing, and you’ll likely find it compatible with VideoCopilot’s 3D V2 and Blender classes.
