Hi My Media Encoder or Premiere never goes over 25% of my CPU while rendering. Why is it stuck at that point? I don't have a dedicated graphics card and am only using my i7-10700 for now, so is this the reason why? Processor: Intel Core i7-10700 @ 2.90GHz RAM: Patriot 8GB x2 DDR4 SDRAM MB: H510M-S2H SSD: XPG GAMMIX 256GB M.2 HDD: 1TB 7200 RPM SATA PSU: DEEPCOOL DA600 80 PLUS Bronze (600W) OS: Windows 11 latest build

The computer looks at those extra processor bits and treats them just like normal ones, giving a false idea that there are sixteen total cores when there aren't really any.

AME uses about four cores normally, but it's different if you run the special cloud version made by Adobe.

Does this processor have eight cores but not run at full speed because it uses just four threads? Did you think about that instead of the total number of cores?

Windows counts those extra cores like regular ones, so it shows up with sixteen instead of eight.
