Hello
My Media Encoder / Premiere never surpasses 25% of my CPU usage during rendering. What could be the cause? I’m using an i7-10700 without a dedicated GPU, is that the reason?

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz
RAM: Patriot 8.0 x 2 GB 3200 MHz viper steel SDRAM DDR4
MB: H510M-S2H
SSD: XPG GAMMIX 256GB S11 Pro M.2.
HDD: 1 T.B. 7200 RPM SATA
PSU: DEEPCOOL DA600 80 PLUS Bronze (600 Watts)
OS: Windows 11 latest build

Windows interprets the hyperthreaded cores as regular ones, making it appear you have 16 cores.

AME mostly relies on four cores, except when using the public beta from Adobe Cloud.

The CPU has 8 cores, but this doesn't necessarily limit its performance to 50%. It depends on the number of threads utilized. If only 4 threads are active, the performance will be lower.
