It really depends on the game. Fast-paced shooters need a solid frame rate to switch views smoothly. I recently played Tomb Raider and found 40fps at full resolution worked great—TressFX set it to 2560x1440p. At around 30fps with the same settings, it was noticeable but still usable. Still, not worth it; I stuck with 40fps and no hair.
