I purchased a PC from eBay. The seller mentioned it comes with built-in Wi-Fi on the motherboard. I installed Windows and noticed that the network settings show "Ethernet unplugged" instead of active Wi-Fi. I've tried various solutions, but none worked. Microsoft support suggested resetting the computer, reinstalling Windows, and it should work again. The BIOS indicates everything is fine. Could someone assist me with this issue? Thank you.

Identify the motherboard model by examining the Device Manager. If unfamiliar devices appear, they might be your WiFi card. Since Windows lacks native drivers, you'll have to obtain the appropriate driver from the manufacturer's website and install it yourself.

No, you wouldn't need to visit the Intel website for this. The system is an i9 12900k, so you can proceed directly with the necessary steps.

It depends on who made your motherboard—whether it was from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte or another brand.
