Hello, I’m looking for guidance on handling CPU failures when processors enter a low-power mode. Usually, I experience BSODs except during demanding games or stress tests. Setting C-States and lowering processor power to 10% in Windows settings helped for a few months. Now, even at maximum power settings, I’m getting BSODs very often. The code snippet shows error logs and system warnings. My hardware is an Intel i5 10600KF with a Deepcool Neptwin cooler, paired with Asus PRIME Z490-V-SI RAM and XMP profiles. I’ve tried clean installs, updated drivers, changed RAM, cleared CMOS, used safe mode, and more. Still, the issue persists, especially during BSOD loops. The logs mention warnings about clock watchdog timeouts and occasional hardware exceptions. It seems this problem is tied closely to low-power states.
In your overclocked CPU and board, adjust the BIOS settings by increasing the voltage by .005 until stability returns. Consider switching to a fixed voltage if adaptive voltage proves too erratic. Use HWInfo to track the voltages and record the crash points.
