Running Prime95, CoreCycler, and OCCT small/medium/large all worked fine. Still crashing during the game. Unclear which core is causing the issue.

Welcome to the curve optimizer, a place where this is quite typical. Stability with minimal strain is surprisingly fragile, whereas stress tests endure forever. Core Cycler might assist, but honestly, I’d prefer simply reducing all cores by five and moving on.

You can use Core Cycler or try the 7800x3D setup with a -20 core reduction. It’s run smoothly without crashes or instability over the past few months. If issues arise, just reduce it further by 5 and continue.
