It displays the game at a resolution above native levels. The anti-aliasing effect enhances visuals, though it significantly impacts performance—rising to 150% of the render scale means essentially 1440p plus an extra 50% pixels.

it influences both speed and clarity, not just resolution alone

It causes a slowdown, which can increase input lag and lower FPS if you experience it.

For optimal results without compromising appearance, use the maximum setting. It shouldn’t affect latency or input lag as suggested, since only pixel density is increased. Similar to 4K playback, it mainly influences visual quality rather than performance beyond that.

Isn't input lag the gap between pressing a button and the game responding on the screen? FPS or worse frame rate doesn't cause input lag; your actions appear less fluid because of lower FPS. The lag stays consistent even at higher resolutions, as the game seems to run less smoothly due to poorer frame timing. Pressing the button will still feel equally quick.

Sure, I'll review the video later. Internet restrictions are tight—I haven’t watched it yet. It seems likely it runs at low frame rates or has noticeable input lag compared to higher framerates like 60 FPS. Thanks for the update!
