Hey y'all, I've been working on my overclock for my gtx 1060, but I'm a bit confused on the "gpu voltage" setting for this gigabyte extreme gaming software. Here are my (currently stable**) settings right now as follows, as they are listed in the software:
GPU clock +150mhz
Mem clock +200mhz
GPU voltage +10%
Power limit +10% (running @ max the highest power goes is 109%)
Now what does the % voltage refer to? When I was running furmark, gpu voltage was maxed @ 1.063v. What is this setting even doing, if anything? Should I leave it the same?
As far as the numbers in reality, these settings max me out at 2076mhz on the core, and 4104mhz on mem. To me this is really good, and I value stability first and foremost, which it seems I've achieved. However, I may be able to push it a bit more. Is there anything I should do to finetune this? Temperature-wise, this maxes out @ 71c, but that was running w/ prime95 on as well (realistically the average high GPU temp was more like 65c on furmark).
Any tips? It's been a minute since I've built a new system and overclocked. Thanks guys
**When I say stable, I mean that it has passed 3D mark stress tests, can run the unigine valley benchmark, and can run both prime95 and furmark for 10 hours without fail.

Hey everyone, I've been fine-tuning my overclock for my GTX 1060 and I'm still a bit puzzled about the "gpu voltage" adjustment for this Gigabyte Extreme Gaming software. Here are my current (stable) configurations as shown in the program:

GPU clock +150mhz
Mem clock +200mhz
GPU voltage +10%
Power limit +10% (operating at maximum 109%)

What does the percentage voltage actually mean? During Furmark tests, the GPU voltage reached its maximum at 1.063v. Does this setting have a specific purpose? Should I keep it unchanged?

In practice, these numbers push me to 2076mhz on the core and 4104mhz on memory. That seems solid, and I prioritize stability above all. Could there be a way to slightly increase it? For temperature, the limit is 71°C, but I ran Furmark with a similar setting and kept the average GPU temperature around 65°C.

Any advice would be appreciated! It's been a while since I installed a new system and overclocked. Thanks all!
