I own a Y 700 Lenovo laptop. I like Rainbow Six Siege, but my frame rate fluctuates between 45 and 53. Can I overclock the GPU to reach 60 FPS? Your advice would be appreciated.

Your system, so I wouldn't assume to tell you what to do with it.
Overclocking can raise heat output, and most laptops aren't designed to manage extra warmth.
I see, having a cooling pad might make a difference.

It could work, though you might not gain much from the OC if it leads to damage. Give it a try, but monitor your temperatures closely.
