Hello, I am interested in the MSI B450M MORTAR TITANIUM motherboard because it looks great and fits well in my black and white PC case. I’m mainly focused on overclocking the Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600X to 4.0/4.1ghz, but I need advice on which option is better for my budget—preferably the Ryzen 5 2600 without a X variant. It features a 4+3 phase design, which isn’t ideal for overclocking, but it should still support the Ryzen 5 2600 up to at least 4ghz. Additionally, I recently purchased a Palit Jetstream GTX 1070 Ti with 6 + 8 pin power connectors and plan to overclock it slightly. I’d appreciate your recommendation for a budget-friendly PSU that can handle these configurations effectively. Thank you in advance.

Keslo is seeking the MSI B450M MORTAR TITANIUM mobo for its aesthetic appeal and compatibility with a black and white PC case. They are interested in overclocking Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600X to 4.0/4.1ghz, comparing the two models and asking which is more suitable given their budget preference for the Ryzen 5 2600 non-X. They also mention a Palit Jetstream GTX 1070 Ti with 6+8 pin power connectors and are curious about its overclocking potential. Keslo asks for recommendations on affordable PSUs capable of supporting these configurations, specifically for overclocking the Ryzen 5 2600/X to 4ghz or 4.1ghz and the Palit GTX 1070 Ti SMALL.

Thanks for the feedback! I have another query. Check this benchmark here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMkNVJe5FzM. Should I choose Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600X? Thanks in advance.
Of course, the 2600X performs better than the 2600. The point is: is the speed increase noticeable enough in the games you play to justify the higher price? I assume the FPS graphs in the video are showing frame rates. If your monitor is 60Hz, I think there won’t be any perceptible difference since all results were above 60FPS. As long as there’s no noticeable gap, go with the cheaper option. For a 144Hz display, opt for the 2600X.
