According to what I understand, tridentz 3200 cl16 are Hynix AFR. I own these RAM modules on one of my systems. I could boot with 3600 16-18-18-36-60-416, but I think you might want to try the calculator for lower trfc. My setup was quite high, and I achieved better results with 3466 16-17-17-35-52-312 at 1.35v.

My F-secure didn't respond well to that Thaiphoon site or the software. But everyone I've checked that looks like it actually works seems to use it, so I'm not sure what's wrong... In short, the main RAM has a Hynix "c-die" if you trust the info and search it up, and the results point to a Cl16 chip. Adding some extra voltages might make my 3600 CL19 function better. On my end, the calculations aren't working for some reason. My idea is it's probably close to Cl16. Also, keep in mind that with AMD Gear Down Mode enabled at high speeds, your CL won't work properly unless you turn it off.

You asked for the precise configuration details. Based on your examples, the TRX was set to 60 and the TRFC to 416. The timing adjustments were applied, but you encountered the error code "CS."

I just recalculated the timings excluding the dram calculator, with everything in BIOS set to Auto except RAM frequency at 3533 and clock frequency at 1767. The results are included below. When I enter them into the BIOS, the rig fails to boot. It might be that I selected rank 1 instead of rank 2, though I believe my RAM is rank 1. Another possibility is that I can’t adjust the clDO VDDP voltage in BIOS—every attempt returns zero, and I can only modify the “VDDP” setting, which I assume shouldn’t be changed.

If 3466 fails, consider using the “safe” preset on the calculator.

I don't really want to start a new thread for this question since it's applicable, so I'll post it here. Ryzen's Third gen supports stock memory speeds of 3200 MHz, and Linus says in his video: "Overclock needed for 3600 MHz is 13%". Does that mean that if you use 3600 MHz RAM, your CPU automatically overclocks to get that to work? And what exactly gets overclocked? Sorry if this is a noob question. Reason: I am a noob Thanks!
