I’m about to reinstall Windows 10 and wanted to know if I need to adjust partitions during the setup to accommodate the update that Microsoft hasn’t resolved. If yes, how much bigger should I expand the partition and where should I do it? Or is it simpler to adjust later after installation? I’ve attached a picture of my current OS installation and partition layout. I’m unsure which one (Recovery or System) required expansion since I thought Microsoft would have fixed this already.

I don't see why you would need to change anything here.

The Recovery and EFI sections appear to be standard sizes. It’s unclear what’s missing. I haven’t encountered an issue linked to either partition being too small. If you’re performing a fresh installation (and you’re certain all important data is saved elsewhere), simply remove every partition on the device and allow the existing Windows installer to reorganize it.

I just checked it again. This update doesn't install 0x80070643. I decided to reinstall to resolve more issues, especially since it's been a while since I updated Windows. I expect it will run smoother afterward. Microsoft recently mentioned they won't fix this problem for users, so the recovery partition should be bigger for the update to work. Some people reported that increasing its size didn't help them either.

No one has mentioned this problem or felt its effects, as I believed it affected all Windows 10 users.
