I think you're in the correct forum, but it's new to you. Could you confirm? The setup involves Kubuntu 24.04 LTS on a TrueNAS scale VM, with internet via wireless USB and Wi-Fi auto-connecting to an openVPN server (ProtonVPN). The system boots with local network access and Plex streaming, but it doesn't connect to the VPN. When using xrdp via Windows Remote Desktop, OpenVPN works fine. You've tried granting read permissions for netplan configs and adjusting network settings. Any other tips? Let me know if you have more details.
