Hi there. I was testing various OC configurations and tried the EZ tuner advanced setting on my ASUS Z170-A board. After setting it, when I power on the system the screen remains blank. The mouse lights are on, LEDs function, and fans operate, but the display is empty. Keyboard lights are not working. I've used this same profile before and it functioned properly. It seems the problem might be linked to a recent boot issue where the graphics card isn't being used until shortly after Windows starts. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

It would help to remove the recently adjusted settings.
Try this to restore the original BIOS configuration:
Power off the computer, then shut down the power supply unit located at the rear of the machine (near where the cable enters).
Hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge any remaining charge from the motherboard.
Disconnect the CMOS battery (a nickel-sized, chrome-colored round disk—leave it out for 5 minutes).
Reinsert the battery and restart the computer via the PSU.

It would be wise to remove the recently adjusted settings.
Follow these steps to return to the original BIOS configuration:
Power off the computer, then shut down the power supply unit located at the rear of the machine (near where the cable enters).
Hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge any remaining charge from the motherboard.
Disconnect the CMOS battery (a small nickel-sized, chrome-like disk).
Leave it out for five minutes, then reinstall it.
Restart the computer via the PSU.

Thank you for your message. Actually, I followed exactly what you mentioned and managed to boot into the bios. Interestingly, I was able to set manual OC settings and the auto OC with just three profiles. However, the ez wizard auto OC that I used before won’t work again. I still get the same blank screen.

All these factors suggest my manual OC produced the best realbench score compared to the auto’s, especially with the XMP profile presets.

I was wondering if I’m off track by not starting a new thread... can I still OC my RAM without using the XMP presets? I noticed my RAM usage wasn’t close to 2166 in DRAM frequency but was around 4200 in NB frequency during cpuz. Does that matter?

In any case, I’d like to optimize my RAM if it’s beneficial.

I have two 8G sticks of Corsair Veangeance 2166.

Thanks again and happy holidays to everyone who reads this.

before you start dealing with the ram, why not fix this problem? Clearly you have a display in BIOS, so the issue likely lies in the settings you're selecting. Set it to the default and then switch to Windows once.
