Hey all, quick question for today We all are very aware that we can "set icon pics" for our folders, & also "choose a file to show on this folder icon. I was wondering if it is possible in Windows Explorer Folders, to set the white background to a picture it self. With out a 3rd party program. Im keen to set (my movies,my music,my pictures) so forth. ive seen some stuff on the net tho i am a bit hesitant to download these 3rd party downloads. ill give you an example down below. Thanks. To This.
It seems you're suggesting that this feature isn't available out of the box. You'd need to rely on external tools or applications.
Windows XP remains the final Windows release allowing background customization in File Explorer. This change occurred because Microsoft removed Internet Explorer from File Explorer starting with Vista.
