Windows causes frustration. Assistance needed. Running 64-bit Windows 10 on a domain environment. Local admin settings don't resolve the problem. New admin creation also fails. Frequent errors appear when opening Edge or Internet Explorer, and even with PNG files showing "class not registered." Taskbar icons for Edge appear normal, but nothing happens. No settings window appears. Network and security options are inaccessible. Display, sound, controls panel, and antivirus remain unchanged. No Start menu, CTRL+ESC, or Windows+X available. Safe mode not accessible. Malware scan found nothing. CPU usage stays low except for OneDrive setup logs showing 99% utilization. I'm trying a fresh Windows 10 Pro installation about a month ago. System runs on a 120GB SSD with an extra 1TB drive, 12GB DDR3 RAM. It's an older i5 with a quad-core processor. No major programs installed, no extra hardware required. Help is appreciated.

SFC scan revealed no problems. DISM completed without altering the system's state.

Perform a fresh setup without internet access until you save it to your desktop. Once connected, link to the network and install Windows updates before opening any programs or files. REMEMBER: Ensure you have the newest media creation tool on a USB drive. Occasionally, even with a 64-bit key, a 32-bit version was installed.

Ensure the SSD is connected, then proceed with a fresh installation.
