Check the scaling settings for both monitors. Adjust the external display to match the laptop’s resolution or fix its scaling issue. Ensure the apps on it are using the correct resolution.

That’s why I’m adjusted—I have limited vision.

The latest Windows update introduced a blur reduction feature. Test it out. After linking the second screen, restarting the PC resolves some blur issues. It might also mean the monitor's sharpness setting is at its lowest level.

Windows isn't the right operating system, unfortunately. Many programs perform poorly, which is expected. The simplest solution is to ensure consistent scaling across all monitors.

It was at level 50. I increased the volume fully, and it's improved somewhat, though Spotify remains less responsive than the taskbar. Thankfully, my vision isn't great, so I had to shift the screen a bit further away, which helped reduce the blurriness.

Absolutely, I understand. Without them, I notice a 5cm gap directly ahead, while the rest appears hazy.

I see similar issues with several colleagues who’ve reported poor screen visibility. They often had their displays adjusted to 1024x768 despite using a 1080p monitor, usually because they refused to wear glasses or change their settings.

I faced vision issues during high school. Over time, I shifted toward the front due to fixed seating, which made it hard to spot the decline early. Eventually, even from that position, seeing the projector screen became difficult. Sad to say.
