I realized that streaming at home only requires basic hardware, so I’m building a living room setup and choosing a controller. The clear choice is an Xbox 360 controller, but since it’s limited to gaming, I’m considering alternatives like wireless mice and keyboards. Linus mentioned something he uses, though I don’t recall the details. What other options do you think might work?

I believe a Logitech keyboard+touchpad set works well, but if you prefer just a controller, the Logitech F710 is a solid choice since you can customize its buttons. You might also consider an air mouse, as Linus discussed in his recent cooling mod video—he used it after replacing the receiver. Another option is using your phone as both touchpad and keyboard with an app like Unified Remote. Edited August 7, 2014 by MRL
