You're dealing with a Gigabyte Z390 UD that has unwanted lighting. Since it's a Hackintosh, you can't rely on Windows utilities. Using Ubuntu Live USB is a good start, and you might be able to adapt some Linux applications for macOS. Regarding the RGB issue, it's worth noting that even workstation models often include built-in lighting, which can be bothersome if you're using it around the clock in a bedroom.

Check if your device includes RGB settings within the BIOS and see if you can turn them off there.
