I made a copy of my boot drive © onto my new drive (D). The operating system details are there on D after I used Macrium to duplicate everything. What’s the process to start from D?

Begin by providing your system information. Restart your device and clear any spam messages that appear during loading. Once it starts, check for boot settings and adjust the primary drive to your primary storage.

The configuration option varies based on the maker of your motherboard.

Yes, it’s a good idea to format the old drive right away. This will give you a fresh start and avoid any lingering issues.

It depends on your choice. What would you like to do with it?
