I have two 27-inch monitors placed next to each other—one at 1080p and one at 1440p. I’m having trouble adjusting the mouse scaling when switching between them. I’m not sure if this is the right term, but I mean how the cursor moves from one screen to the other. Windows treats both screens as identical. Can I make the second monitor appear smaller in Windows? Thanks.

You're limited mostly to adjusting the resolution. Changing the UI scaling won't help much and could complicate things further.

You can move the 1440p display nearer to enhance its size, though getting accustomed to it might be necessary.

You can position the left screen at the bottom to ensure alignment, or reduce the resolution so both become identical in size—but that seems unnecessary.
