Lol why? Are you checking the core temperature or the socket temp? What cooler and board are you using? Also, 20 minutes of Prime isn't that long. If you're using a water cooler, it usually takes a while for the temperatures to adjust. On air cooling, the changes happen much faster.
My cooler is a Hyper Evo 212, paired with a Gigabyte GA970A U3P motherboard, and I'm tracking the CPU and package temperatures.
Jackshutty is checking their cooler specs and temperatures. They're using a Hyper Evo 212 cooler with a Gigabyte GA970A U3P and are monitoring CPU and package temperatures. They noticed their 8320e reached 4.1 GHz at very low temps, but after increasing to 4.2 GHz, the temperatures rose by around 20°C.
Haha, I'd love to call myself from the northeast of England. The name sounds like it might be a custom term or a nickname.
Jackshutty shared that in the northeast it felt similar to the North Pole, but after being overclocked to 4.4, it crashed with an error after just 5 minutes, with a minimum temperature of 36 degrees. Suggested fixing was to increase the voltage and retry.
