Hey everyone, I checked if anyone else was adjusting this setting—it can really help with the heat. I've been lowering the voltage on my 6700HQ by -0.150V.

Your 6700HQ was reduced by 0.150V. The laptop model you're using affects the safe range for undervolting.

It seems like you're curious about whether others use the Alienware 17 R4, and why it might be a good choice.

It's a good idea to experiment with undervolting. You could try it on your 15 R3 and see if it helps. Since you're short on time, focus on a simple adjustment rather than a full stress test.

I achieved a stable -0.185V with the 6700HQ. Based on your experience, it seems you might reach even lower levels than -0.150V.

The recommendation varies based on the silicon type, but Dave2D suggests -0.150V. The outcome is satisfactory, and the performance remains strong even under load.

It resembles a turbine, yet it doesn't produce excessive noise or a high pitch, which is appealing to me.

Your Netway Leviatan is running smoothly at -0.200V and consuming 38 watts. It seems to be working well.
