Adjust USB3.0 connectors to the correct pins.
Hey there,
My USB 3.0 port on my Dark Hero VIII is in bad shape after I messed up the connector. I switched to a new case and moved the mainboard, but now I’m worried about damaging anything inside—especially the GPU. I’m not sure if it’s safe to keep using it or if I should replace it altogether. I’m really nervous about risking short circuits or other issues. Just wondering if a short circuit could seriously harm the GPU or if it’s just a plastic touch that won’t cause problems. Thanks for checking in!

The connections aren't making contact with adjacent pins. Assuming the PC is functioning correctly at this moment, it looks like everything is in order.
You might also straighten the pins by bending them back. Use tweezers or a thin tube—put the tip of the pin inside and gently shift the tube so the pin sits straight. Each row represents one USB port; if any pins are damaged, only that specific port will fail. The remaining ones stay functional. Even if a few pins bend together, you’ll likely still have the USB controller or port working, so other parts of your computer won’t be impacted.
