I’m not sure about the exact setup, but you might want to ensure the screws are snug enough without over-tightening. The coaxial cables connecting the wall to the modem shouldn’t be damaged by excessive force, so it seems safe as long as you’re careful.

You can force the connectors until the threads come out. They should be secure enough indoors. For extra security against tampering (to stop kids from pulling the plug), add a quarter turn with a 7/16" wrench.

Inside, everything fits snugly and precisely, giving me a solid hold for turning it with a torque wrench, though I’ll keep it simple now. Performance matches typical 1g speed and 400 Mbps data rate.
