You can redirect Steam, Origin, and Uplay games to your external gaming monitor by adjusting the display settings in your system preferences or using a dedicated software solution.

That sounds frustrating. It seems like this should be an option rather than a requirement. Switching monitors mid-game would definitely disrupt the experience.

Eh, there should be an option in Steam's Big Picture Mode, but you'll have to use Big Picture mode to set the default monitor for where your games open up. And this is only for Steam... However, for other alternatives check out this webpage: http://gaming.stackexchange.com/question...-a-game-on The best alternative, to me, is the TvGameLauncher one: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tvgamelauncher/

You can use various monitor software solutions. The challenge lies in creating game-specific settings. // DisplayFusion is currently discounted – check the store link for details.

Fascinating. Decided to purchase it because it seemed very affordable. I plan to experiment with it and refine this later. Appreciate the advice!
