Zen 2 works best with DDR4 3600 RAM for peak performance. The motherboard quality isn’t the issue—it’s more about the chipset. Some B450 boards provide superior VRM compared to many X470 or X570 models. For instance, the MSI B450 Tomahawk offers excellent VRM, whereas a Gigabyte X470 Ultra Gaming falls short. Right now, RX 5700 XT cards deliver better performance than older models like the 2060 Super. The power supply isn’t ideal either; you can find the PSU tier list on the forum for more details.
This setup should work fine with the R7 3700X, but if it's meant for gaming, I recommend choosing the R5 3600 and a more affordable B450 board—it won't affect performance much. Also, keep in mind that most B450 and X470 boards require the latest UEFI firmware to run Zen 2 CPUs; this PSU isn't ideal for that. Need some other 80+ Gold models with 550W+ capacity?
