What the title says. I have some unallocated space that I want to merge. For that kind of job I usually use EaseUs Partition Master, but it requires rebooting and ever since I went to a UEFI installation of Windows the program will not function properly and renders my partition unreadable. Is there any other way to extend my Windows partition without rebooting? Using diskpart perhaps?

I believe updating the size of your boot partition usually requires a restart in Windows.

It seems unlikely, perhaps not even feasible for a program to do that.

From what I find online, the "Server" versions of these programs are meant to support this feature. However, they tend to be quite expensive.

Install the bootable Partition Wizard ISO on a USB or CD and start it.

Thanks for the feedback. I chose WinPE tools for this task. Many partition managers seem unreliable, promising resizing of the system disk while it's mounted, but in reality most fail to do so. The built-in Windows Disk Management appears to perform better.
