Looking for a single chart displaying overall processor usage? Simply select "Change graph to: Overall utilization" via the right-click menu. To highlight each core or thread individually, right-click the graph again and choose Logical processors.

It seems this occurs only when the system has more than a specific number of cores. The exact minimum isn't clear, and it's a workaround to let the task manager display each core separately.
