Your PC is using Windows 10 version 1909. Updating to the 2004 version might improve performance, but results can vary.

It's a standard SATA SSD with 240 GB capacity, and I also have a 970 Pro. However, the NVME port on my motherboard isn't working properly, so it can't recognize my NVME SSD.

Your startup programs depend on the settings you've made. When you access the msconfig panel, navigate to Services and ensure the "Hide all Microsoft services" option is unchecked. This view shows only essential services. Verify that all drivers are installed, including chipset and SATA controllers added by the motherboard. Check if your memory XMP profile is set to Profile 1 in the UEFI. A Windows 10 system running on a Core 2 Duo should operate smoothly under these conditions.
