Adjust RGB settings to improve visibility inside your PC case.
Hey everyone, I ordered various RGB components and installed them in my case. However, most of them have low brightness. The G-Skill TridentZ RAM looks very dim, as does the Corsair and NZXT fans (except the rear one). I’m considering adding another power supply connector, but it seems like my RAM and some system fans are affected too—they’re all connected to the motherboard. Anyone have suggestions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also attached a picture showing that the RGB cables and the back fan are noticeably brighter than the rest. Please note, any software that helps test this issue is welcome. My GPU is in the bottom slot because I started seeing artifacts there. It feels like my motherboard might be deteriorating, though I don’t know how to confirm it. The top PCIe slot could also be faulty. Edited December 7, 2022 by D4rkSilver1999
I would first verify all RGB software settings to ensure device brightness is at 100%. If that doesn’t meet your needs, consider using a third-party RGB application such as OpenRGB or SignalRGB for greater control. My opinion: Not every LED or diffuser is the same. Some manufacturers use higher-end LEDs, apply higher voltages, or employ different diffusers with varying opacity. In reality, they all appear quite bright! Additionally, try adjusting the RAM color to green or white to see how brightness changes; based on my experience, blue/purple often looks dimmer than other colors even when set to full brightness.
