MB: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 PRO (NON-WIFI) Rev 1.0 – Case: CORSAIR Frame 4000D RS ARGB Fans are powered and spinning normally, but the RGB display won’t activate. I’ve verified all connections, installed various RGB controllers (Fusion, SignalRGB, iCUE), but none detect the fans or show them anywhere. I followed the manual precisely and connected to the 5v 3-pin header labeled "D_LED1". I also tried "D_LED2" and re-seated everything since the fans are daisy-chained from the factory. I’m unsure what else to try. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The system uses a default header in 12v mode. Have you changed it to 5v mode using the switch on the board? If not, do this immediately before damaging the RGB header or fans. Was this board purchased as-is? It’s quite old, and the RGB header might be affected by improper use of the RGB mode. Since it’s an early computer model, it could behave differently with Corsair fans—this was common around 2018–2019. Did you verify the BIOS settings for the RGB header? Have you installed the RGB Fusion software from the downloads section for this model?
