I tried 1600 and it worked out well, looks like that's a good balance.

Unless you use several DPI options, it doesn't work well. It shows your peripherals directly in onboard memory rather than storing them on your computer. However, for macros on Logi you'll have to rely on G Hub, unfortunately.
