I'm dealing with an HP ZBook Power G8 Mobile Workstation. Connecting an external monitor and adjusting the display settings seems to shift the gamma value from around 2.2 to about 1.4. When using just the external monitor, the gamma returns to 2.2 but with only one display active. I'm having trouble finding a fix for this issue. I've searched extensively, though my search results seem limited, and I haven't found any solutions. The external monitor lacks gamma controls, and Windows Display calibration doesn't resolve the problem. I recently replaced the old monitor due to concerns it was failing. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
