You should set the priority high because it can improve performance when other tasks are running, such as Chrome. It might seem unnecessary unless you have multiple background processes.

Whenever I drive quickly, the map or texture load takes a long time or disappears, fixing the priority issue resolved the problem.

This suggests there are many background processes active. It’s a good idea to close unused programs while playing GTA. Would that assist?

No background processes were active except for the antivirus, which used significant storage. The games ran smoothly without any issues.
