I'm not sure what pump is in your AIO, but unless it stops your CPU from overheating, you should keep it as quiet as possible (just below the point where you hear the pump). You don't need to move a lot of water through the CPU block.

I’m considering giving it a shot. My Ek CR240 definitely produces a humming noise at full capacity, and it seems to quiet down once it’s set below 50. I’m still unsure if that threshold is accurate.

50% is acceptable. I think a lower limit of 30% would be better, though I don’t have concrete evidence to support it. I’m aware that some fans might require a minimum amount or might not start at all. Based on my experience, I haven’t encountered this issue at 30%.
