Hey there. Someone can definitely assist you. The PWM fan you bought on Amazon has nice RGB lighting, but the noise bothers you. If this were a DC fan, connecting it directly to the 5V rail would be straightforward. However, I’m uncertain if this method applies to PWM fans.
In Hardware Monitor (under BIOS), select the header you wish to adjust the fan curve for, then turn off the curve and input your desired fan speed. Save your changes and close the BIOS menu.
Choose either BIOS or MSI command center. I'm using both without problems except for the need to use the command center since one fan can't be managed in BIOS alone—this is something only MSI understands. It's not too bad if you just enter there, adjust the fan curve, and close—just avoid changing anything else in the command center, or things could go wrong quickly.
