Adjust CPU voltage for better performance on AMD 5800x.
Antoine mentioned PBO didn't help much, focusing on temperatures and voltages. I'm using a u12s with a B550 Tomahawk motherboard. I've applied a voltage offset of -0.125 for all cores, which seems quite high. According to Cinebench R23 results, my multi-core performance dropped by about 5%, and single-core performance was similar. Under regular workloads like gaming and browsing, temperatures stayed around 80°C, whereas typical use usually doesn't go beyond 70°C.
I've restored everything to normal, eliminating the voltage offset. I adjusted PPT to 105, TDC to 70, and EDC to 90. This achieved a maximum of 73°C under cinebench load, though voltage still briefly jumps to 1.465. Still better than the original, as stock would spike to 1.498 or higher.
