The display automatically reduces brightness when the content is dark and brightens back once it's visible again. This causes frustration while watching movies, especially at night, where scenes turn into silhouettes. I searched for a permanent fix but couldn't find a solution. It seems related to NVIDIA, as the problem appeared after installing drivers. All drivers are current. My setup includes an RTX 3060, an i3-12100F on an MSI B660M-A Pro (BIOS from September 2023), two 16GB 3200mhz DDR4 modules, and a RM850 monitor running Windows 11 Pro with no updates available.

Review the monitor's OSD settings. It seems to include options like dynamic contrast, adaptive brightness, or movie mode. https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-libra...3183709846

There isn't anything visible in the monitor settings for you.

Follow the instructions on your monitors manual to ensure Smart Energy Saving remains disabled.

Sure thing! It looks like you're realizing the value of consulting manuals more often. Great move!

Great! It helped. I also needed to set up my own 3 LG monitors.
