I notice this happens regularly whenever I update my phone, especially after security patches. Android often installs games like Bingo Blitz, Royal Match, Solitaire and Pandora. It seems the setup process in August 2023 included many sponsored apps. This appears to be a configuration issue. If you want to stop it, you may need to adjust settings manually—preferably through the device’s options. For alternatives, downloading apps from GitHub could work if available. Have you given it a go? Open the “Settings” on your Android device. Move down and choose “Apps & Notifications” or “Apps.” Pick the app you wish to restrict from automatic downloads. Click on “Permissions” or “App Permissions.” Look for the “Download files without notification” option. Turn off the toggle to disable automatic downloads.
