Attributed the issue to Microsoft’s design choices. Was at school when I asked, didn’t have time. Thought it would be in the registry. Probably my overthinking made it worse.

Are you kidding me? The new settings panel is way better than trying to find stuff in the old control panel. Looking through settings is something everyone should do when they get a new device or software that they never used before... This is like trying to drive a car without knowing where the blinkers and hand brake are located. Seriously, just spend the 15 minutes to look through all the settings and you will never have to ask questions again.

I'm just getting started with Windows now. I moved from Ubuntu during those days of Windows Vista and haven't changed since. As for the post, I wrote it while in school—no need to open settings because I was there! To be honest, Microsoft still has a problem with both 'settings' and 'control panel.'

Earlier I mentioned that users should review the settings upon acquiring a new device or software. That’s usually right after installing Windows 10.

I'm familiar with command lines on ad-free sites, but your alert was appreciated.
