After using Windows 10 for a while, I've come to tolerate its strange interface. Microsoft's approach to running the OS has become too much for me. I need Windows to support certain school software and can't revert to Linux easily (I actually miss Ubuntu). My main issue is adding programs inside the system (I spent $120 just for a Windows license, but it seems Microsoft profits from that?!) and I'm unsure how to fix them without touching the registry.

Consider Classicshell or Start10. It performs its tasks as intended. Start10 is charged, however.

Consider adding security filters to your modem or router to prevent unwanted traffic from reaching specific IP addresses.

It's possible the IP address could change frequently or be linked to additional Windows tools.

It’s referred to as “look through the settings.” I’m surprised how people today can’t take a moment to thoroughly explore all the options and decide what they truly need.

On your path, explore the Setting panels. They contain choices connected to Windows 10. Remember to set up your Maintenance, Windows Update, and Defrag (for HDDs) schedules during a fresh installation so they don’t interfere with your active usage. > Maintenance settings are located under: Start > Type: Maintenance > Pick: Security and Maintenance > expand: Maintenance > Change Maintenance settings (blue link) > Windows Update schedule appears in: Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Active Hours > Defragment schedule: Begin by selecting Defrag and then choose Defragment and Optimize disk > Adjust settings.
