Hello, I recently purchased Black Myth Wukong and noticed a noticeable drop in FPS. This usually occurs while exploring the map or battling bosses. Even with the R2 button on the joystick, FPS fluctuations happen, which is quite frustrating and can ruin the gameplay experience. I found some YouTube videos where players with similar PCs played without issues, so I’m unsure what might be affecting my setup. I’m hoping someone can assist me!

What I’ve tried:
- Clean reinstall of Windows 11 Debloat XMP on/off
- Clean boot of Windows (no MSI Afterburner during games; used it in a video for metrics)
- No background software (Logitech G Hub, Corsair iCue)
- Updated drivers (chipset/GPU)
- Clean driver install (DDU + NVCleanStall)
- Rebar on/off High Performance/Balanced power plan
- Limit FPS with rtss vsync on/off

PC specs:
Ryzen 7 5700X3D RTX 3070 2x16GB RAM T-Force 3600MHz
Motherboard B550 MSI Pro VDH-WiFi 1TB 3500MB Kingston NVMe 1TB HDD Western Digital Blue PSU Redragon 850W 80 Plus Gold

Here’s a sample video I shared:

Did you set up the game on an NVMe drive or a traditional HDD? What display resolution are you using?

I operate at a resolution of 1920x1080 with the game running on an NVMe drive.

Currently I think it might be the Rebar option that’s turned off in BIOS. I haven’t played Wukong, but I noticed strange lag in FF7Rebirth until I disabled Rebar. If your device uses a different controller than Wire, signal strength could also affect FPS. See this example: https://old.reddit.com/r/horizon/comment...ops_on_pc/

wukong carries a bit of pressure, so consider using DLSS and lowering the settings from high/ultra to a lower tier. If that doesn’t help, it might be a driver problem affecting recent Nvidia GPUs. After clearing everything and reinstalling drivers, switch to studio drivers and see if the issue persists.

I tried playing without a controller and didn't succeed either. Rebar remains unavailable, but I'll attempt the 566.36 drivers tomorrow, which many people recommend!
